Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Vibe Code Mama ("VCM," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information.

VCM is an early-stage community and media experience for women learning, building, and adapting with AI. We collect only the information we need to operate the community, run events and workshops, communicate with you, process payments, improve our work, and keep the experience useful and safe.

Scope

This Policy applies when you visit vibecodemama.org, submit a form, join our email list, register for an event, purchase a membership or digital product, attend a workshop, participate in a community space, or otherwise interact with VCM online or offline.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, city or region, profession, company or project details, LinkedIn or social links, referral source, AI interests, event details, survey responses, and payment or membership status.

We may also collect content you choose to share, such as posts, comments, questions, prompts, workflows, demos, screenshots, recordings, testimonials, feedback, and project descriptions.

We collect basic analytics and usage information, such as pages viewed, device/browser information, referral sources, form activity, email engagement, and approximate location.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate VCM, manage memberships, register events, send updates, deliver resources, process purchases, run workshops, moderate community spaces, respond to requests, improve our content, understand what members need, and protect the community.

We may also use information to send newsletter, event, membership, product, or community updates. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

Community Participation

VCM experiences may include WhatsApp groups, live calls, event chats, email threads, community tools, workshops, demo nights, and other shared spaces. Information you share in those spaces may be visible to other members, attendees, hosts, instructors, moderators, or service providers supporting the experience.

Please do not share confidential employer information, private third-party information, sensitive personal information, or content you do not have the right to share.

Events and Demo Nights

When you register for or attend VCM events, workshops, demo nights, or online sessions, we may collect registration details, attendance records, questions, chat participation, submitted demos, and related feedback.

By voluntarily sharing demos, prompts, workflows, projects, screenshots, recordings, or other content during VCM activities, you grant VCM a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, summarize, and feature that content for educational, community, editorial, and promotional purposes unless you request otherwise.

Some sessions may be recorded or photographed. We will try to make that clear when it applies, but you should assume live community and event settings may include screenshots, chat logs, attendee names, or recordings.

Artificial Intelligence

VCM may use generative AI tools to create, edit, summarize, organize, prototype, and improve content, resources, workflows, and digital experiences.

AI-assisted content may contain errors, omissions, bias, or outdated information. VCM content is for educational and informational purposes only.

Beta and Experimental Services

VCM is evolving. Features, resources, memberships, workshops, community formats, digital products, and other experiences may change, be modified, paused, or discontinued as we learn what is most useful.

Third-Party Services

We use third-party service providers to host our site, process payments, manage communications, operate community spaces, register events, analyze usage, and deliver digital services. Examples may include Stripe, WhatsApp, Google, Beehiiv, Luma, and similar providers.

These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Please review those policies when you use their services.

Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies, analytics scripts, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to keep the site functional, understand usage, improve content, measure performance, and detect misuse.

Your browser or device may let you block or delete cookies, but some site features may not work as intended.

Email and Communications

If you submit a form, join the newsletter, register for an event, purchase a product, or join a community space, we may send transactional, operational, community, and promotional communications.

We may still send non-marketing messages related to purchases, event registrations, membership access, security, policy updates, or community administration.

How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers, contractors, instructors, moderators, event partners, payment processors, analytics providers, and professional advisors as needed to operate VCM.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a business transfer, or with your consent.

We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense.

Content and IP

Members should only share content they own or have permission to use. Do not upload confidential employer information, private third-party information, or copyrighted materials you do not have rights to share.

Third-party tools, links, articles, examples, screenshots, demos, and resources remain the property of their respective owners. VCM may provide summaries, commentary, curation, and educational references.

Retention and Security

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to operate VCM, maintain records, resolve disputes, comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect the community.

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect personal information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or request information about your personal data.

To make a request, email hello@vibecodemama.org with the subject line "Privacy Request." We may need to verify your identity before responding.

VCM is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review it.

VCM provides educational and community experiences only. We do not provide legal, financial, tax, investment, employment, medical, or other regulated professional advice.
